Ground floor On the ground floor there is a luxury detached holiday home (160m2) with a private veranda overlooking a Dutch polder landscape. There is sleeping accommodation for up to 10 people (4 x 2 person bedroom + 4 x bathroom + 2 x additional bed). In combination with our apartment on the first floor there is even room for 12 to 14 people.

First floor Our new built apartment (50m2) has its own entrance (staircase) and is on the 1st floor. There is sleeping accommodation for 4 to 6 people (2 x 2 person bedroom + 2 x bathroom + 1 x sofa bed). In combination with our holiday home on the ground floor there is even room for 12 to 14 people. Outside is a terrace on the water that you can use.

Details

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the farmhouse during a long weekend in the Netherlands. It was centrally located and allowed us a chance to explore so much of the country. We visited Delft, Gouda, Keukenhof, Kinderdijk, and Oudewater (which was only a 5-minute drive from the house). Marga was very accommodating and hospitable. Our young children especially enjoyed seeing the cows roaming by the farmhouse and petting the newborn calves. Such a great experience in a rural setting surrounded by nature and beauty.

Our stay at Marga‘s place was awesome. It has all amenities in it that you need in your daily life. This makes us feel like home. The location and area around is gorgeous, beautiful landscape and idyllic farming things. Communication incl. check in and check out was very easy and Marga was always available for questions or recommendations. We would definitely come back and recommend this place for a lovely holiday. Awesome!

The house is well located since most relevant places in Netherland are less than one hour drive. You won't miss anything in the house, it has all you need, the house had been painted recently and it was really cosy. The pictures show clearly what the house is like. Marga was very kind and the perfect host. It's the ideal house for a big group.

Ideal house for a big group

The pictures posted by Marga do not do justice to the beauty of the home, and its surroundings! The property is a 30 to 45 mins drive from the cities of Amsterdam, Hague, Rotterdam, Gouda, Delft and Utrecht, couldn't get any more central. The surroundings with miles of fields visible from the rear Patio are so serene, and one wishes they could sit there all day and disconnect from everything. The kitchen amenities were perfect. The gas fireplace was a bonus for the family to sit around every evening. We also had more than the required number of towels provided to us. The Washer/Dryer is located on the property in a small shed a less than minutes walk from the main home. I want to end by adding that this home is a hidden gem and we are so glad we were able to stay here.
